Once I come out of the settings, audio returns if I click any where within Reaper. But now, if I go to the audio device settings in Reaper, the interface loses firewire connectivity (the LKD and FW lights on the front of the interface start flashing like a strobe) and the sound cuts out. I seem to have just about got things working again. It seems that whenever I try to access the ASIO drivers settings, start using ASIO, or stop using ASIO, it would very often give me a BSOD.
This continued today with every time I closed Reaper, BSOD.Įventually I tracked this down to it being an ASIO issue. I did a Windows update last night, and altho this may be just a coincidence, around the same time, I lost all audio and started having a nightmare. Windows 10 seems to no longer support Firewire (I may have got that wrong), and Focusrite no longer support the Saffire 24 DSP Pro (which is definitely the case) and thats the interface I have.
